Thanks for including the log.  Makes it possible to debug :).

        <B> binary systems:           out of 11

For whatever reason, it did not detect what kind of system you are on.
Use the B option to choose the binaries to install.

BTW, if you are up for testing the forthcoming release, you could get
the test-texlive-inst.iso image (from http://tug.org/ftp/texlive/Images)
and give it a whirl ...  (The French documentation translation isn't
updated yet, but the English is mostly there.)
