[tex-live] Mpost TexLive 2004 problem?

Can someone help me with this one?

mpost graphics.mp
epstopdf graphics.1 -outfile=graphics.1.pdf

fails while it worked in TL2003. I can reproduce this here. Can anybody 
on this list?
