[tex-live] Code freeze?

    1. Since we now all have to recreate binaries, can we do the "move 
    source.development to source" first and ask people to build their 
    binaries from there? It is not that crucial for me, but i like the 
    cleanness of it (source = production, source.development is 
    development).

I have no problem with doing this now, makes sense to me.  But I feel it
is Sebastian's decision.  Sebastian?

    2. Has the etex.ch possible problem with aleph been resolved?

My understanding was that it was intentional that aleph is using an
older etex.ch, that is, Giuseppe hasn't had the chance to integrate 2.2
yet.  (Giuseppe, please correct/confirm ...)  So I don't think there is
a problem there.
