BTW, the t1lib in xdvik-22.81 (and earlier) has a buffer overflow
bug for font path names > 120 characters. Rainer is working on
it, and I'll release a new version as soon as he's done.
I don't know how long this will take; if you don't want to wait,
you could apply the following patch to your sources (which fixes
the overflow only, not the limits on path lengths):
