Yes, as I suspected, such critical (ok, maybe not for everyone :) things
like Hebrew, Arabic, Greek, Russian, Latin, footmisc.sty and possibly
other bits and pieces are not included by default, so I'll just have to
install them manually.

The default installation succeeded and compiled hello.tex into hello.pdf
successfully. The only change I made to install-tl.sh is to rm -f
updmap.cfg before cat-ing to it.

On the positive side, I noticed that Kerkis fonts were upgraded to the
recent version in TeX Live --- that saved me time upgrading them manually.

Also, I normally patch texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf like this for my needs:

--- texmf.cnf.0 2004-04-19 20:11:30.000000000 +0100
+++ texmf.cnf   2004-04-19 20:12:57.000000000 +0100

 extra_mem_bot.context = 4000000 % extra high memory for chars, tokens, etc.
 extra_mem_top = 2000000 % extra low memory for boxes, glue, breakpoints, etc.

Because the default value of 1500000 is too small for the huge paragraphs
I have in HebrewNT.pdf.

Kind regards
Tigran
