url.sty version 1.5:

There are two versions of url.sty in the CTAN tree, one new, and one old:

-r--r--r--  1 mirror mirror 20460 Nov 25 19:45 tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/misc/url.sty
-r--r--r--  1 mirror mirror 12674 Jan 24  1997 tex-archive/support/ltx2x/url.sty

They are versions 3.0 and 1.1 respectively.

I'll replace our installed version 1.5 with the 3.0.

On the TeXLive 9/2003 DVD, there are three versions, all out-of-date:

% url.sty  ver 1.5    28-Mar-1999   Donald Arseneau   asnd at triumf.ca
