[tex-live] Problem with TL source tree (eomegadir/eover-rc1.ch)

I can now check out source.development, build it end to end with all 
files read-only,
do a "make distclean" and then build again successfully. Maybe you could 
try, Gerben?
If that is OK, I am inclined to base future work on this tree, and not 
worry about current "source"
now.

I am also inclined, in a week or two, to put this tree into CVS on Berlios,
and keep Perforce only for the Master tree.
