    3. remaking pictures/front.jpg (some strange look, eg. lost characters:
       D+DVD instead of CD+DVD as on .pdf)

Volker said the cover was preliminary anyway, so I didn't worry about
details.  (For one thing, the list of user groups needs adjusting, one
way or another.)

I made the jpg by running pdf2ps, then pstopnm, then pnmtojpg.  Perhaps
there's a cleaner way? The pdftopbm that's part of xpdf came out with a
black image (author says it'll fixed at some point ...).
