Ok, sorry that was not the feature that is not supported by Gnu tar. the
feature I wanted is th -o option of zip which allows to set the date of
the archive to the date of the most recent file in it. Apparently no
equivalent with tar. Maybe lots of options with tar, but have a look at
'zip' ones : they are quite different.
