[tex-live] md5

Hi,
pdftex would need access to functions for computing an md5sum.

The texlive repository has them at three places:
- TeX/libs/md5
  openssl md5 code
  Where is this used?
- TeX/libs/libwww/
  original RSA code
- TeX/texk/dvipdfmx/crypto/
  openssl md5 code

I'd like for pdfTeX to incorporate the libmd5-rfc
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/libmd5-rfc/). 
Where shall I put it?
