First I would suggest to fix the http://www.tug.org/texlive/index.html
the supported systems paragraph:

<h2><a name=systems>Supported systems</a></h2>
Presently executables for the following platform/operating system
combinations are included on CD 1 of TL7
<ul>
<li> i386/Linux
<li> i386/Solaris2.8
<li> PowerPC/MacOS X
<li> Windows (most versions, on Intel machines)
</ul>

and the following combinations on CD 2 of TL7
<ul>
<li> PowerPC/AIX4.3.3
<li> SPARC/Solaris2.7
<li> MIPS/IRIX6.5
<li> i386/Solaris2.8
<li> i386/FreeBSD
<li> DEC Alpha/Linux
<li> DEC Alpha/OSF4.0d
<li> HPPA2.0/HPUX10.20
</ul>

Then for bugs.html:

<ul>
<li> 2002/06/07: Calling tex/latex with the option --src on the following
	arch/os combinations declare themselves WRONGLY as TeX, while
	they do NOT pass the trip test. This happens ONLY when you use the
	--src option. You can download correct binaries for these architectures
	by clicking on the relevant arch/os combination and unpacking the
	file into the directory that holds the binaries. Please note that only
	those binaries are included which are not correct, so do NOT delete
	your TeXlive/bin directory!
	<ul>
	<li><a href=...>DEC Alpha/linux</a>
	<li> ...
	</ul>

<li> 2002/06/06: The (o)xdvi.bin can NOT be used on older i386/linux
	systems due to library incompatibilities. These systems include
	(but are not restricted to) Redhat 6.2, SuSE 6.4 (??), Debian Potato,
	.... Working binaries for these arch/os combinations can be
	downloaded from <a href=....>here</a>

Just a first draft ...

Best wishes

Norbert

WOOLFARDISHWORTHY (n.)

A mumbled, mispronounced or misheard word in a song, speech or
play. Derived from the well-known mumbles passage in Hamlet :

                        '...and the spurns, That patient merit of the
  unworthy takes When he himself might his quietus make With a bare
  bodkin? Who woolfardisworthy To grunt and sweat under a weary life?'
