[tex-live] It is not omega 1.23 per se but something else

It is not omega 1.23 that is at fault. I installed the binaries from my 
installer that were made with the source tree synced on May 20 or May 22 
in case I forgot to update the stamp. This one works and it is omega 
1.23.

DATETIME=@2002/05/20:13:30:00

(maybe DATETIME=@2002/05/22:23:55:00)

So somehow the diffs between May 20 and now broke omega. Maybe something 
with the new banners (web2c 7.3.7x vs 7.3.7)?
