[tex-k] Question on dvips

Hi,

this is not a question of Linux or Solaris.
dvips uses a configuration file, config.ps.  Please look at yours and
there is an option for output file, or to pipe the output to the printer
Your two environments (Linux and Solaris) have apparently used different
settings.
