Hi Karl,
below part of a mail I originally sent to Thomas Esser and Sebastian Rahtz
with some patches (two of those already forwarded to you by Thomas).
As far as I can see you are the current maintainer of (o)dvipsk, but I don't
know whether or not Tomas Rokicki is still active on the non-k version.
You'll probably know best how to handle this:
========================
Since oxdvik has now become part of xdvik (with an option -noomega),
wouldn't it be adequate to do the same for (o)dvipsk. I looked at the
differences (i.e. occurences of "#ifdef Omega") and all that should be
rather staightforward. If you want I can give it a try.
BTW: There is one "#ifndef Omega" in dvipsk/download.c ("/* from ASCII
jpatch */"). I suppose that either the ifndef is a mistake or this piece of
code is obsolete.
BTW: It seems that dvipsk won't compile on 16-bit systems with
"typedef long integer" because there is
extern int nscalewidth P2H(int a, int b);
in protos.h, but
integer nscalewidth P2C(register integer, a, register integer, b)
in bbox.c.
========================
