Right now there is no @ifpdf, since I'd never come up with a good use
for it.  I suppose I should add it now, for cases like this.

If you or anyone else would like to work on that, I can integrate the
changes.  Otherwise, I'll add it to the bug list for some incredibly
future date, probably never :(.
