I have installed your files on GitHub, with small changes. The UTF-8
file with tones has simply replaced the existing file hyph-zh-latn.tex,
and the file without tones (^-encoded for reasons related to pTeX) uses
the name of the legacy file pyhyph.tex. This makes it easier to fit in
the hyph-utf8 infrastructure, and it seemed consistent to consider the
latin-1 file an update to pyhyph.tex.

I’ll make an upload to CTAN in due time.

	Best,
