[tex-hyphen] hyphenation with ligatures in input

Not me, but LuaTeX.

My reply to Mojca got grey-listed.  I'm neither advocating using
ligature characters in input nor in patterns.  I just wanted to know how
LuaTeX handles those characters.

I never complained about LuaTeX's not being able to hyphenate correctly
in presence of ligature characters.  Rather I wanted to get an idea
whether and how I should handle those characters when manipulating node
lists myself, but couldn't make head nor tail of LuaTeX's output.  Now I
know it's not worth caring about those characters.  Thanks again!
