Well ... Arthur's work :P I will remove them.

I wanted to solve another issue concerning those files with Jonathan,
but he seems to be busy.

whooops ... and so did italian. My fault - if editors are too clever
... you end up not noticing that something is still ISO Latin 1.

I know. This was one of the two languages that I "did not touch" (i.e.
is not converted "properly"). It's not trivial to remove commands from
it if you take a look at it. It takes some work to generate proper
one-per-line-patterns. Norwegian cantains commands as well.
