[tex-eplain] hypertext problems

Thanks for the help.  Indeed, as suggested, if the % is removed
from

\hlstart{url}{}%
{http://www.math.neu.edu/undergrad/mthu130}menu \hlend

a colored "menu" appears.  Unfortunately, a link is not produced,
so the problem is the same as the problem with

\href{http://www.math.neu.edu/undergrad/mthu130}{menu}

The mystery has been removed, but the malfunction remains.

I will now see if more recent versions of the relevant software
cure the problem.
