[tex-eplain] turning off indexing

    I have looked in the EPlain documentation for a way to turn off 
    indexing.

It never occurred to me that someone would want to use indexing commands
and then have them be no-ops.  Your \noindex looks fine to me.  If Oleg
feels like incorporating/documenting it ...

    And I certainly don't want to see all 
    the reports of reading the .tmp file.  

Maybe running etex instead of tex avoids the .tmp madness.  Not sure.
