    But it does take a while for all the distributions 
    to update it.

The "distributions" (at least TL) cannot easily look inside zip files to
know when something has changed.  And Hans seemingly releases new code
by the hour :), so doing it manually is time-consuming.

Anyway, I will try to figure out some way of getting the astonishingly
ancient supp-*.tex files on CTAN (by themselves) updated.  That's the
root of the problem.
