[tex-eplain] header problems

hello every 1,

	I am facing a problem with headers. I am putting the
chaptername and even head and section name as odd
head. Noe the problem is some the chapter names is so
long that it goes into two lines. Can i cut short the
title name so that ony one line goes to the header?
what i meant is can i put a part of my chaptername as
header???
