Hi Matthew,

    Project: Dublin Core metadata interface

Wow.  Yes, it's obvious you have thought a lot about this.

One thing that is not clear to me from your description is whether this
can all be done at the TeX macro level, or if changes to the internals
are required.

Anyway, the only problem I see with listing it is finding another
mentor, given your summer move.  I will write Peter Flynn and Scott
Pakin now; they are the two people who come to mind.  If you can think
of others, please feel free to ask them.
