In Mint, I use a search on the package manager to find which packages have the extra LaTeX packages I need and install them. There are usually multiple LaTeX Linux packages that have what you want scattered around. Once you find and install those it usually
works great. I think I do a search for pstricks (no .sty I think) and mark whatever Linux package it's in for installation. Not a big deal.</div>

My company recently upgraded to Debian 10. I tried to run one of my<br>
PSTricks files and got the error message that the system couldn't find<br>
the pstricks.sty file. I then leased an older machine running Debian<br>
10, and the file compiled without a glitch.<br>
<br>
Does anybody know if this is particular to the system my company<br>
installed, or if it is a conscious decision on the part of the Debian<br>
team not to include PSTricks in their LaTeX distribution?<br>
<br>
If this is not the right forum to ask this question, can anybody tell<br>
me which one it would be? Thanks!<br>
