[pstricks] powerdot conflict with pstricks-add?

I've recently been unable to compile a powerdot document in which I need
the pstricks-add package. I keep getting the following two errors

Error, line 8163, Key 'siunitx/number-mode' accepts only a fixed set of
choices.
Error, line 8163, Key 'siunitx/unit-mode' accepts only a fixed set of
choices.

Could anyone offer any assistance?
