I use pstricks with beamer practically every day. I have standardized on XeLaTeX as the typesetting engine and never looked back. Using XeLaTeX I can use pstricks code, and in the same document use \includegraphics with not just eps but also jpg, png and pdf files. Also, the use of Unicode characters and normal fonts is trivial. HTH Luís Sequeira
