Equidistant spacing appears only at angles 0 and 90 degrees. Is this intended? Is it possible to rotate an object keeping exactly the original shading pattern?

the width and height of the _surrounding_ box is devided by the
steps. When rotating an object the surrounding box will increase
and also the shaded steps. The first and last are cut by the
rotated rectangle. You have to modify the pro file,
because it knows nothing about the rotating angle. Not
really easy.
