Herbert,

   From the log file: Package: pst-plot 2011/06/05 v1.00 LaTeX wrapper for
`pst-plot' (HV). Looks recent to me. Is there a newer version of pst-plot?

   I see that version 1.44 is now current. Sigh. Thought that I had all the
latest versions. Now I have pst-plot updated.
