In your example I miss \begin(picture)(-3,-3)(3,3) as first line (after \begin{document} and \end(picture) as the last line before \end{document)

    Hi!

      Your minimal example is working fine with my miktex (up-to-date)
      and GS 9.06 under win7pro.

      \listfiles

      \documentclass[10pt]{article}

      \usepackage{pstricks,pst-tree,pst-node,pstricks-add}

      Add \listfiles and load pstricks-add.sty last and give it another
      try. Post your \listfiles-section out of log-file.

        Dear all,

        I am an old user of
            pstricks. Recently, I update my Miktex, finding that all
            most all of my old tex files under old version of pstricks
            cannot be complied properly under the new version of
            pstricks adopted in Miktex. I wonder whether after small
            refinement, I can save my old graphs.  (I am trying to
            replace the new version of pstricks to the old one, but
            after replacing, the dvips seems does not work L )

        An simple example is as
            follows:

        \documentclass[10pt]{article}

        \usepackage{pstricks,pst-tree,pst-node}

        \usepackage{amsmath}

        \usepackage{amscd}

        \usepackage{graphicx}

        \usepackage{amssymb}

        \oddsidemargin -3.0 cm
            \evensidemargin 0.0 cm \topmargin -1.2 cm

        \textheight 24 cm
            \textwidth 20 cm

        \begin{document}

        \rput(3,-2){\rnode{S}{}}

        \cnode(3,-3){.35cm}{S'}\cnode(3,-3){.4cm}{A}\rput(3,-3){\rnode{A1}{$p_1$}}

        \ncline[doubleline=true]{->}{S}{A}

        \cnode(6,-3){.4cm}{C}\rput(6,-3){\rnode{C1}{$p_2$}}

        %\rput(6,-4.5){\rnode{P}{}}
            \ncline{->}{P}{C}

        \ncarc[nodesep=3pt,arcangle=30]{->}{A}{C}

        \ncarc[nodesep=3pt,arcangle=30]{->}{C}{A}

        \end{document}

        It can be compiled
            through  latex -> dvips under the old version of
            pstricks. But now, after the same methods, the gsview show
            the following information:
