[pstricks] naming conventions for macros in pst-* packages

Dear list,

I am putting together a small PSTricks extension package for solving
ODEs. PSTricks add-ons are usually named as pst-*.{tex,sty}. Is there
also a naming convention for the macros defined therein? I have seen
macro names beginning with \ps... and \pst... but also names that do
not give immediate allusion to PSTricks.
