[pstricks] pst-pdf.cfg

Dear Herbert,

Thanks for your answer.
I use the same sequence as yours on TexLive 2010 and Windows 7  but pdflatex with write18 enable does not produce the picture1..4.eps. 
It seems that the file mane-pics.pdf is already opened by pst-pdf and/or preview and this prevents the correct use of \savePics.
I have no idea how to solve the problem.

Patrice,
I run it with

latex pstpdf3.tex
dvips -o pstpdf3-pics.ps pstpdf3.dvi
ps2pdf -dAutoRotatePages=/None pstpdf3-pics.ps pstpdf3-pics.pdf pdflatex -shell-escape pstpdf3

and got the files picture1 ..4.eps

running on Linux/TeXLive

However, if you need the pictures you can also try pst2pdf <file>
