[pstricks] Cleaning Up PSTricks Installation

   I'm upgrading all of PSTricks using Herbert's complete directory
structure. However, I have two directories where pstricks functions are
located. For example:

[rshepard at salmo ~]$ ll /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/pstricks/pst-3d.tex
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 21651 1999-03-29 16:00
/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/pstricks/pst-3d.tex
[rshepard at salmo ~]$ ll /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/pst-3d/pst-3d.tex
-rw-r--r-- 1 1031 1005 10079 2008-03-15 10:02
/usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/pst-3d/pst-3d.tex

   Obviously, the latter is more current.

   My question is whether I can remove /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/pstricks/
and install all new versions in their individual directories. I believe that
I can, but I find three files in that directory that appear nowhere else:

-rw-r--r-- 1 1031 1005   4580 2008-07-15 07:37 textures.con
-rw-r--r-- 1 1031 1005   5923 2009-01-29 14:33 vtex.con
-rw-r--r-- 1 1031 1005   8610 2008-06-20 15:00 xdvipdfmx.con

Can I safely remove these?
