[pstricks] ylabelPos and overfull boxes

I think I misled you by using the word 'label'. I just want to recreate the example below in Plain Tex

\begin{document} 
\begin{pspicture}(1,5) 
\psaxes[xAxis=false,linecolor=red,ylabelPos=right]{->}(0.5,0) (0.5,5) 
\end{pspicture} 
\end{document}


Page 66 of pstricks-add-doc.pdf says that the option ylabelPos=right will put the labels for ticks
to the right - or is this not possible in plain TeX?
