Michael,

   Yes, I figured out where the spacing and labels were specified and
commented out those two lines.

   Yup. I had to find the proper section in TLGC2, in Herbert's chapter 5, to
refresh my memory.

   Through trial-and-error I'm getting the axes correctly marked and labeled.
