You can download the correct file for windows from my web site at http://www.batmath.it/latex/down/ps4pdf.bat.
  If you can wait till monday I'll send you the translation of the "users guide" that I have written in Italian for my students (at http://www.batmath.it/latex/pdfs/guida_pstricks.pdf).

Thank you very much Herbert. I have looked at 
http://perce.de/LaTeX/pst-pdf/scripts/ps4pdf-bat.txt, which says:

I did so with ps4pdf.bat but got this:

The file submitted-pst-pdf.log is empty. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Also, is there a better way to use a batch file?
