[pstricks] Density plots with PSTricks?

To my knowledge nobody has done such a thing in PSTricks, at least not 
in a released package, though it wouldn't surprise me if somebody has 
done a "quick and dirty" private version. I am (quite slowly) working on 
a contour plotting macro for PSTricks that could probably be adapted to 
do this without much trouble once it is finished, whenever that may be. 
However, at the moment I've barely got the algorithm worked out and no 
code to speak of, so I don't think I can be of much help right now.
