In my Linux machine I could get the dissolve transition working in Adobe 
Reader 7.0, in full-screen (ctrl-L) mode only
               ^^^^^^^^^^^

I made some slight changes: since I don't have the "serpaggi" style, I
used "rico" instead and produced the ps file in my usual way

  dvips sample -o
