[pstricks] Books with pstricks and jpg pictures

I have done the same for my PhD, your options are:

    * convert the jpg to eps (the gimp does a good job for that) and 
stick to latex
    * convert your pstricks figures to pdf (which will keep the vector 
graphic format) via epstopdf and use pdflatex
