Nope...

Doing some more test in your document, eg:
\psset{drawStyle=xLines,linecolor=red,linewidth=0.75pt}%
\makeatletter
\define at key[psset]{}{mykey}[]{}
\psset{mykey}%
\psplotThreeD(0,3)(-1,-1){surface}%

and adding several \psset{mykey} commands, does not
change the output. Hence the problem must be in the
way that the keys have been programmed. I think this
one is for you Herbert...
