[pstricks] Submitting a book with pstricks figures to Springer.

Dear pstricks at tug.org members,

I'm just helping my boss with the pictures in some book he works on.

Has somebody of you experience with pstricks figures in monographes
which are to be submitted to Springer?

Springer demands pdf-files for reproduction. Is the path

dvips -Ppdf -G0
ps2pdf

sufficient for that purpose?

I've got another question which is a bit off topic: Has somebody of
you experience with submitting compressed pixel graphics in eps-files
to springer?

Is the ImageMagic command

convert -compress jpeg uncompressed.eps eps2:compressed.eps

appropriate for that purpose?
