Hi, what I do under linux is convert the dvi file to ps and then to pdf, I
think that you know how to convert from dvi to ps, in linux there is a
command that convert ps files to pdf, you should type in your command line
something like this:

ps2pdf file.ps file.pdf
and the result is a pdf file more small
I hope it would be usefull

Juan Antonio
