  First look if "gradmidpoint=0.5" do what you want (page 75 of the manual).

  If you need more on gradients, look at the `pst-slpe' package from Martin
Giese, on CTAN:graphics/pstricks/contrib/pst-slpe if you have not it on your
installation.
