This is the PSTricks mailing list, devoted to discussions about computational
graphics in (La)TeX using the PSTricks package from Timothy van Zandt.
For help using this mailing list, see instructions at the end of message.

The example of \pscharclip in the _Graphics Companion_
(p.113) appears not to match the printout, in that

a. linecolor=red ought to make a red _outline_ round
the letters, not fill them with red, surely?

b. fillcolor=yellow is being ignored/disobeyed

Is there an updated pst-char lurking somewhere?
I can't find anything more recent than:

graphics/pstricks/generic/pst-char.tex (2148 bytes, dated 1998/07/08)
graphics/pstricks/latex/pst-char.sty (111 bytes, dated 1997/06/13)
