This is the PSTricks mailing list, devoted to discussions about computational
graphics in (La)TeX using the PSTricks package from Timothy van Zandt.

I recently found the FPIC software. People working on, using or just
interested (this list doesn't really include myself!) by functional
programming languages can be interested to look at it, which is a graphical
package inspired by the PIC language, but with a ML interface. And interest
for us is that the graphical package used inside is just PSTricks - all the
FPIC commands generate the relative basic PSTricks code.

  Reference is http://www-sal.cs.uiuc.edu/~kamin/fpic

P.S. * It is more a demonstration package up to now than an operational one.
Functionalities seems limited, but method of development is rather well
explained.
       * The LaTeX / PSTricks usage is rather old. Even in the September 1997
publication, it seems only based on LaTeX 209 and PSTricks 0.93 (even the beta
software of 1994 seems ignored).
       * People interested by functional languages perhaps also know the Caml
flavor of ML (Caml Light and Objective Caml implementations) which has is own
graphical interface, MLgraph, rather developed - but not related at all to
PSTricks (see http://pauillac.inria.fr/caml/index-eng.html and
http://pauillac.inria.fr/caml/extensions-eng.html).
