textures and pstricks

I am having problems similar to those described by Gregory A. Ruderman
<ruderman at uiuc.edu> concerning use of PSTricks97 with Textures.

I changed the lines in pstricks.pro and renamed textures17.con as
described in your reply, but I still have teh same problem.  The
document produces output with text but no pstrick graphics.

I would appreciate your help.
