[protext] Latex Installation Problems

hmm, sounds that you've actually downloaded a corrupted .exe. Try 
loading it from ftp://ftp.fernuni-hagen.de/pub/windows/win32/ProTeXt , 
and check it against ProTeXt-2.2-071608.exe.md5 to verify that the 
download was okay.
