From karl at freefriends.org Mon Mar 2 19:30:29 2026 From: karl at freefriends.org (Karl Berry) Date: Mon, 2 Mar 2026 11:30:29 -0700 Subject: no more Subject: prefix for tug.org lists Message-ID: <202603021830.622IUTQK049050@freefriends.org> (Apologies to those of you who see this many times.) FYI, I've removed the "[...] " prefix from the Subject: header for this mailing list's messages. This has become necessary because of draconian DMARC/DKIM/ARC rules now imposed by Apple, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc. The List-Id: header identifies the mailing list for purposes of filtering messages, etc. I know that is less convenient, but that's life. This was already done on a number of lists, and now it's the case for all lists on tug.org, as has been the case on gnu.org and other sites for some years. --karl From zlists+texstuff at jdvb.ca Mon Mar 2 20:48:00 2026 From: zlists+texstuff at jdvb.ca (Jim Diamond) Date: Mon, 2 Mar 2026 15:48:00 -0400 Subject: no more Subject: prefix for tug.org lists In-Reply-To: <202603021830.622IUTQK049050@freefriends.org> References: <202603021830.622IUTQK049050@freefriends.org> Message-ID: On Mon, Mar 2, 2026 at 11:30 (-0700), Karl Berry wrote: > (Apologies to those of you who see this many times.) > FYI, I've removed the "[...] " prefix from the Subject: header for this > mailing list's messages.
