[pdftex] tagged PDF update?

Hi everyone,

I noticed that there is a bunch of info from 2008/2009 regarding a
version of pdflatex that could produce tagged PDFs, but not much info
since. Has there been any progress? Is there an experimental version
available for download? (I'm running OS X 10.7, and MacTeX 2011, so I
have pretty new versions of all the tools, but I don't see anything re
tagging.)
