[pdftex] Compression of embedded pdf graphic.

Hi,

Though I'm using 

\pdfcompresslevel=9
\pdfminorversion=5
\pdfobjcompresslevel=3

the content of pdf files included via \includegraphics is
NOT compressed in the final pdf output document as I would
have expected.

My output file is 20MB and should be much smaller if I can get
this included pdf content to compress.

Any suggestions welcome.
