[pdftex] bibtex showing Windows API error 123:

Sorry for the distraction.
Finally found out what the problem was (5 in the morning now!).
Turns out I referenced a bibliography that was not there.
All my fault, but the error message sure did not help me find it.
If the bibtex developer is reading this: here is a request.
